The national PAFTA celebrates outstanding contributions to paediatric training across the UK each year. You can learn more about the award and view our recent winners on our PAFTA webpage.
We invite each region to submit their regional PAFTA winners in up to three categories: Core Trainee, Specialty Trainee and Educational Supervisor. This form must be completed only by the Trainee Committee regional representatives or Heads of School.

All three categories can be accepted using a single form. For each regional winner, you will need to provide their contact details, RCPCH number and two questions about why they were selected as a regional winner. Please ensure you have all required information ready before starting your submission. Remember, you will need permission from each individual whose details you are submitting.
You can save your draft and return to it later. Once saved, you will receive an email with a link to access your draft. If you experience any issues accessing it, please contact us at awards@rcpch.ac.uk.*
Submissions must be made via this form. We cannot accept entries submitted by email.
Winners will be announced at the RCPCH Conference on 19 May 2027.
The submission window will close on 1 February 2027 at 12:00pm.
*Please note that the College will be closed from 23 December 2026 to 1 January 2027 inclusive with no cover to respond to PAFTA-related queries during this period.
